Admiral Lord Nelson School, Portsmouth – Building Project

  • Removal of existing chain-link fencing
  • Installation of v-mech fencing
  • Powder coating works to existing gates
  • Installation of canopy to students bike store

This commercial school building project was undertaken for Admiral Lord Nelson School in Portsmouth, as part of their continued upgrading and maintenance programme. The existing boundary fencing had become damaged and potentially dangerous to both the public and students. The remit for the bike canopy was to not only to keep the students bikes dry in bad weather, but also to provide a level of security to stop thefts.

The works compromised of the following:

  • Removal of trees and shrubs
  • Removal of existing chain-link fencing and posts
  • Install and concrete of new posts for fencing
  • Installation of V-mech fencing
  • Removal of existing gates
  • Shot blasting and powder coating of existing gates and re-installation
  • Install and concrete of new timber posts for bike store canopy structure
  • Timber frame for roofing sheets laid to falls
  • Installation of roofing sheets
