These works were undertaken for a domestic and repeat client in Worthing West Sussex. Our advice was sought upon the condition of the existing oak windows which were unfortunately beyond repair. New oak window frames were manufactured in preparation for the installation. The existing single pain crittall windows were to be extracted from the existing frames and re installed to the new frames.
The works compromised of the following:
- Temporary propping of existing double bay to enable the structural windows to be removed.
- Removal of glass from existing windows and lead repairs where necessary.
- Manufacture of oak bay window and double window.
- Installation of oak frames.
- Installation of Single pain crittall windows and putty work.
- Decoration of window frames.
